So yesterday we went to go see portobello market which was way cool! They had knife jugglers and awesome fresh food markets and fun shops. I got a bracelet for myself that I really like. Silver and clasps like a belt buckle!

Then we came home to droop our things off, change into something fancier and hit up the Apollo! We first had dinner at a fun place called the willow walk right next door. I had a club sandwich and chips and Sean got some awesome indian food with curry. Never had curry before!

Afterwards we went next door to see WICKED!!!!

Ah my god it was so amazing. Sean said it was one of his favorites. Hes been to a ton of plays and musicals so that’s cool:). I’m not sure who played Glinda and Elfabah but man they were amazing. Whoa.

After, we went to little Persia to have a drink, and some Iranian tea, and hookah! Never smoked that before and not a huge fan but it sure smelled good:)

Finally rolled home around midnight and watched south park and went to bed:)

We woke up this morning to finish shopping—Sean got lots at primark and bershka too! I got a cool sweater dress from Zara and also some things for tonight!

We will meet up now with Audrey and her boyfriend Ryan who just flew in this morning. then hit up this fancy shop called herrods then fortnum and mason and then we will grab dinner and split ways to get ready.

Then party at Bells all night for Audrey’s bday with cat faces on!

Day tHree fancyyyy

So yesterday we made tea time for 11:30am at THE RITZ HOTEL NO BIG DEAL.

Sean, Audrey and I got all gussied up and took the tube to the ritz :) omg it was so fancy. Apparently a shirt, tie, and sweater isn’t dressy enough for Sean so they gave him a coat in his size to use! Oh wow and the finger sandwiches were amazing. Some turkey and Swiss,mcucumber and sprouts, some with egg salad or smoked salmon! Amazing!!!

We also had tea and cakes :) Audrey and I tried passion fruit and orange tea and Sean had royal english, then they tried lemon and oolong and while we did that, they came around with cakes and slices of German bread and lemon bread. We. Were. So. Stuffed.

That lasted until about 130, then we split ways and Sean and I went back to the flat. once we changed, we went to go shopping at Camden Market, half souvenirs, half super cheapo everything. So fun! We were there for a couple of hours and then we came back to the flat to drop off our loot, then had dinner at a little Italian place by our flat:). Had too much wine and took the tube to where Sean lived when he studied abroad. Cute to see him reminisce so much. He really had such an amazing time when he lived here. Fun to hear hilarious stories :). Then we grabbed a drink at a pub he always used to go to, then took the tube home to snuggle and fall asleep to Prince of bel air haha which seems to be our routine now;).

Woke up today and we plan to hit the Tate modern museum and abbey road!!!! Da will love that:)

Day 2 part two

So we relaxed at the flat for a bit, then took the tube up towards Winchester and saw the palace and big Ben!

So cool!

Then we spent the rest of the night traipsing around town. We first stopped at a pub but Sean didn’t think it was pubby enough lol so we literally left and found another pub that apparently met his standards ;).

It was great! He got a brew, I got my fish and chips and mushy peas, and he got steak and kidney….and no I did not try the kidney. Don’t think I’ll lose any sleep over that one;).

After that we walked all the way to and through Hyde park to get home on foot. So cool cause while we were walking we stumbled upon two little foxes playing in the lawn in the dark!!!!!! Omg SO cute!!!

Finally made it home and fell asleep watching Prince of Bel Air on Viva which is like MTV. :)

Now it’s 920am Tuesday and we will shower and meet up with Audrey for her bday!!! Sean’s parents treated us to tea and finger sandwiches at The Ritz! Should be awesome:).

Day 2 part one

Woke up at 11:30am…..whoa, 13 hours of sleep! Felt amazing.

Got showered and had breakfast at the flat—oatmeal and cinnamon rolls and milk.
Went and tooko the tube to Oxford circus! Shopped at Mango, Burberry, Primark, M&S, and top shop! Sean found even more than I did! Fairly impressive:)

Stopped by a little place and had a snack to keep us going. Now we are back at the flat resting up until Sean takes me by the place he lived when he studied abroad. I’m pretty excited to see his old stomping grounds. He is too :).

Then we will go to the black goat for a fish and chips bar:) how totally touristy haha. I love it.

Ps this afternoon I woke up to VIVA (London music tv channel) playing an hour-long Paramore exposé! Talk about a dream come true.

Speaking of dreams, I woke up in the middle of the night after having a series of absolutely horrible nightmares and wound up crying myself back to sleep on seans chest. Not until after I smeared my running mascara all over the white comforter :( ugh. Good thing we have a cleaning deposit….

Day no. 1

Got to London at 8am, took the tube all the way to Queens way by where we are staying.
Then, since we scheduled meeting our flat management at 11, we killed the time by having bfast at a little cafe nearby the tube. Croissants and mocha and earl grey tea:) quite lovely.

Then we got let into our flat, unpacked, then curled up and passed out for two hours! Felt soooo good lol. Woke up at about 2pm, showered, ran around Hyde Park with many species, including but not limited to yorkies, chihuahuas, swans, geese, chipmunks and pigeons alike!

Then met Sean’s sister Audrey just off the baker street stop to have chicken pitas and chips at Nandos, and just got home:). Sems like shes having a great stay!! Glad we will take her out for her 21st birthday tues and wednesday!

Now Sean and I will curl up and watch Argo,
It’s 730pm and odds are, I’ll pass out by 9.

Blog sat feb 23

So here it is. I started my morning by arriving at the airport only to realize i left my iphone at my aunts house in western springs. So I’m without phone, but Sean has his and graciously let me log into my twitter and instagram so we can post to our loved ones regardless:)

I’m currently on the American airlines plane to London from Chicago. We are about two or three hours into the trip and sure enough the pilot lets us know that while the plan is ultimately okay, we have to make a landing within the hour to NYC because the plane isnt safe to make an overseas flight. I think it’s because I’m a bad omen to any international flight I hop onto (see Il Fuomo de Alitalia 2009) and Sean thinks the airline is lying to save money since our current flight isn’t even half full. Hmmm. I like Sean’s theory better for the odds of my survival.

Really though, mechanical problems? Scary. Do you think I’m even surprised?

That being said…..!!!

I did fine during take off! I haven’t even had any of the drugs my doctor gave me to take. I don’t know why I just figured I’d try and see how it went, I mean whether or not I was on any drug wasn’t going to affect the planes flight so I figured what the heck. And it wasn’t even that bad!

Sean was proud:). I didn’t cry — i didn’t a even hyperventilate and I thought that was inevitable. I felt rather calm. I didn’t want to be super excited but I just stayed….even.

Also these two adorable little English boys and their mum are sitting to our right and they’re very quiet and polite, which I adore.

I also invested in trash reads in the form of 50 Shades of Grey and the latest Cosmo magazine. Should hold me for a while;).

So now the plan is to land in NYC and get rerouted to another flight to London (which hopefully won’t throw our arrival off by too much time. Id like a nights’ sleep before Sunday in London.

Note to self: download more non-wifi games to Sean’s iPad. Holy moly I can only play this ridiculous train legend game so much!
