i’m going to my first horse race on friday :) i’m pretty excited! we watched one quick on saturday afternoon on tv and the whole room picked their own horse and by the last few hundred yards we were all screaming at the tv. IT WAS SO CLOSE. another horse has a shot at the triple crown, so that’s pretty cool!
i feel like i need a dress and a gigantic hat, like in those movies where everyone is high society and their hats are bigger than texas. haha i secretly want one :)
i hope the weather is better this weekend — i want to go to lake calhoun and lay out on the beach! i’d like to postpone both my monthly tanning and gym memberships because i’ve started taking 3-4 mile walks more frequently and would rather spend time in the sun playing volleyball than lay in a stupid tanning bed.
SUMMER IS UPON US :) i am so happy.
